Our Story
CaptionLabs was born as a solution to a long-time client’s problem in providing access for the disabled.
For years, our client aired a weekly program, and had begun to get requests to make the program accessible to the hearing impaired. With no good solution available, our client approached our founder. The request was simple. “Can you develop a closed captioning solution that is fast, high quality and affordable?” And that’s just what we did.
Like our parent company, we operate from the 11,000-square-foot Production Center in Columbus, Ohio. Our captioning facility is affectionately known as “The Lab,” and it is home to some of the best technicians and artists in the business. Our dedicated team of professionals is focused on one goal – providing quick, seamless service for clients around the globe.
